PACS - Performing Arts Connection
for Schools
Connecting NB Schools with the Performing Arts
What is PACS?
Schools wishing to bring live, quality performances to their students may do so by becoming a member of Performing Arts NB's Performing Arts Connection for Schools (PACS) program. By joining PACS, New Brunswick schools have access to a roster of performing artists available to perform in their school. Because hundreds of schools participate in this program, your school has access to reduced performance fees by high caliber artists from across Canada.
Tour coordination, school/performer liason, scheduling, fee negotiation and contract preparation are all handled by PANB. Also, by becoming a PACS member, your school automatically becomes a member of PANB.
What are the benefits of membership?
PACS members receive our annual roster of performing artists available to tour New Brunswick schools. Our staff coordinate your performing arts series from start to finish: tour coordination, scheduling, fee negotiation, contract preparation and follow-up evaluations are all part of the PACS service. And, since the performers are "block-booked," i.e. many New Brunswick schools are booking the same show, your school has access to reduced artists fees. And, don't forget, by becoming a PACS member, your school automatically becomes a member of PANB!
Who may join?
Elementary, middle and high schools are eligible for PACS membership. School may register individually or school districts may register all schools within their district.
.
What are the Membership Fees?
School Districts may join PACS for $250 per year.
Individual schools may join PACS for $75 per year.
